What an amazing first game players!!! I am so proud of how everyone gave it their best effort!
I have a better idea of positions now, everyone did an amazing job at whatever position they were placed in regardless of where we want them to play from now on!
I know I can be very vocal at games, sometimes this isn't always well received by parents. Please understand I will never ever yell at a player to make them feel bad or to "get my point cross"....I yell at the side line in hopes they hear my direction and coaching and encouragement I am giving them.
Starting our next practice, Coach Scott will be taking the goalie and defense position players and helping them directly. I will be taking the midfield and forwards and directing my coaching to them. This is to focus our skills in the area specific to the player positions.
And speaking of next practice....we will not be having a practice on Holiday Monday. I will let you know if we can get another one squeezed in before the game, but chances are slim.
